Be Part of Our Strategic Planning

Now that Strides Toronto has launched, we are building a roadmap to lead us into the future. Through the summer and fall of 2020, we will be working through a strategic planning process that will help us define our mission, vision and values, and decide on our key priorities and the actions we are going to take over the next five years.

We want to hear from you

Our strategic planning process will include lots of opportunities for clients and members of our community to speak their mind and tell us what is important to them when it comes to Strides Toronto’s services and their experience with us. These opportunities will include individual interviews, group conversations conducted virtually, and a series of “Big Questions” that we will be sharing here and asking the public to comment on.

If you would like to be part of the discussions to ensure that Strides Toronto is an agency that responds to your needs and the needs of your family and community, please email dfranchi@stridestoronto.ca and let her know you’d like to participate. We also ask you to please visit this page throughout this summer to see and comment on the Big Questions that will be posted here.

The future is ours together

Our hope is that Strides Toronto’s strategic planning process helps us take the strengths of both of our previous organizations and build on them moving forward. Through this process, we hope to have a measurable and positive impact on our clients’ lives and become a force for change that meets family and community needs at exactly the right time.

COMMUNITY FEEDBACK OPPORTUNITIES:

Join our September 3rd consultation – 4PM – 5:15PM

We are inviting families who participate in our programs and families who have not been engaged with Strides but want to share their thoughts to join a 75-minute focus group hosted on Zoom. During the focus group, we will explore your experiences with our programming or why you have not accessed programming with Strides Toronto, as well as the needs of families we serve and hope to serve, and your hopes for how we can support families like yours to thrive in the coming years.
