Calling All LGBTQ2SA Youth aged 12 – 24! Join EAST QREW – a queer and trans youth group offering interactive activities including arts, games, music, film, discussion and guest speakers.
EAST QREW brings youth together in a safe and supportive environment where they can connect to others who have similar experiences and offer a supportive community.
The group is also a place to engage in discussions, and receive emotional support from staff and peers, including workshops that focus on improving on mental health through yoga, meditation and stress reduction.
Our guest speakers facilitate educational workshops on topics such as sexuality, spirituality and gender issues that will aim to educate participants and expose them to new ideas. The goal of the group is to have participants learn something new, feel better about themselves and develop a wider social support network through peer connection.
