William is a Director in RBC Capital Market’s Canadian Debt Capital Markets (DCM) group where he advises large corporations on raising money in the Canadian bond market. William is a seasoned finance professional who has over 20-years of professional experience including advising on public and private equity financings, mergers and acquisitions, and experience in government finance. Additionally, William served for 13-years in the Canadian Forces Army Reserves as an army medic and senior leader. Initially motivated by his personal experience in navigating mental health services for his own children, William joined the board of Aisling Discoveries in 2017 and was subsequently one of the initial board members of Strides Toronto. William is originally from Pickering and now resides in Toronto. His education includes a B.A. and an M.A. in Economics from McMaster and a J.D/M.B.A. from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law and Rotman School of Management.
