Rules and Regulations

Daily Prize Rules

This contest is administered by Strides Toronto. To be eligible, you must be 13 years of age or older and live in the Greater Toronto Area in Ontario, Canada. Participants under 18 must have permission from a parent or guardian. You must also follow @StridesToronto, @HelpAheadTO and @WhatsUpWalkIn.

To enter, comment on the daily post for one entry, or share a story showing your act of caring and tag all three accounts for three entries. The three accounts you must tag are @StridesToronto, @HelpAheadTO and @WhatsUpWalkIn. Tags must be visible and cannot be hidden. Daily entries will be accepted from the time of posting until 11:59 p.m. EST each day. You may only win a daily prize once.

Daily prizes consist of one $25 gift card of the winner’s choice. Available options include Amazon, Visa or Sephora. Approximate retail value is $25. There are twelve daily prizes available. Daily winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries received and will be notified by @StridesToronto through Instagram DM the following day. Winners must confirm their age and GTA residency through DM and provide a mailing address for delivery of the prize. Participants under 18 must confirm permission from a parent or guardian through DM. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received that day. Before receiving a prize, the selected winner must correctly answer a skill-testing question. Prizes must be accepted as awarded and cannot be substituted or transferred. Entries that are incomplete, inappropriate or do not follow entry instructions may be disqualified.

Personal information collected from participants will be used only for the purpose of administering this contest.

Grand Prize Rules

Every day you participate, your entries will also count toward the grand prize draw. All daily participants will be included, regardless of whether they have won a daily prize.

The giveaway will close at 11:59 p.m. EST on Friday, December 12, 2025. One grand prize winner will be selected at random on Monday, December 15, 2025, from all eligible cumulative entries. Eligible entries include all comments and all stories tagging @StridesToronto, @HelpAheadTO and @WhatsUpWalkIn that were submitted during the contest period. Tags must be visible and cannot be hidden. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the contest period.

Before receiving the grand prize, the selected winner must correctly answer a skill-testing question. All winners will be notified by @StridesToronto through Instagram DM. No purchase necessary. By entering, participants release Instagram, Facebook and Strides Toronto from all liability related to this contest.
