Targeted Prevention – Respect In Schools Everywhere (RISE)
The RISE Program is a youth-led, school-based violence prevention and mentorship program for grades 9 – 12 students at selected schools.
The B.L.A.C.K. – Black Links and Access to Clinical Community Care for Kids program provides culturally responsive mental health services for Black, African, and Caribbean youth (ages 12 to 25) and their families.

The program is based at the Toronto East Youth Wellness Hubs Ontario (YWHO) at Strides Toronto. It offers:
The program is led by a Black clinician and provides culturally responsive, family-centred care. We understand that Black communities may have unique experiences, and we work to provide care that is respectful, welcoming, and easy to access.
Services are available in person at the Toronto East YWHO, virtually, or in community settings when needed. Referrals can be made by schools, community partners, healthcare providers, families, or youth referring themselves.
