Strides Toronto is governed by a community Board of Directors. The Board is comprised of individuals who live or work in Toronto and have a commitment to the vision, mission and values of the organization.
Lauren Dade
she/her
Chair
Lauren Dade has a Doctorate in Psychology from McGill University and specialized training in Clinical Neuropsychology and Pediatric Health, Clinical and School Psychology. She applies all her skills as a Psychologist for the Toronto District School Board as well as in her role as Head Lead Trainer for the PreVenture Program.
Tom Moutsatsos

Vice-Chair
Tom Moutsatsos is an experienced labour and employment lawyer who joined the board in 2016. Tom is a partner at Hicks Morley LLP. He holds an Hons. BA in history and English from York University and an LLB from Western University.
Donna Chow

Secretary
Donna Chow has governance experience with non-profit organizations and joined the board in 2017. She is actively involved in philanthropic endeavours in the community, and previously led business development, marketing and communications teams in the post-secondary, non-profit and banking sectors.
Nadia Sahadeo

Treasurer
Nadia is an Audit Partner in KPMG’s Technology, Media, and Telecom (TMT) group in Toronto with over 20 years of experience as an auditor. She has held several leadership roles at KPMG, and she is currently the Lead for KPMG’s Women’s Interchange Network (WIN).
Sibel Cicek

Board Director
Sibel brings more than 15 years of experience in public policy, government relations, and advocacy to the board. Currently, she is the Director of Government Relations at the YMCA of Greater Toronto. In this role she leads government relations for YMCAs across Ontario, developing and executing government relations strategic plans in collaboration with CEOs and their senior teams.
Bryan Heal

Bryan Heal has 15 years of experience in research, quality, and evaluation, including his new role as Social Impact Research Lead for Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment.
Paul Huyer

Board Director
Paul has vast governance experience with non-profit organizations. He is currently an Alumni Governor on the University of Toronto Governing Council, Past Chair of Start2Finish Canada and Treasurer of Coaches Association of Ontario.
Laura Jamer

Board Director
Laura Jamer is currently the Vice-President of Policy and Innovation at Colleges Ontario, the advocacy group for Ontario’s 24 public colleges. Previously to this role, Laura was the Director of Government Relations at George Brown College.
William Lumsden

Board Director
William is a Director in RBC Capital Market’s Canadian Debt Capital Markets (DCM) group where he advises large corporations on raising money in the Canadian bond market.
Jason Pilz

Board Director
Jason Pilz is a finance and strategy professional who joined the board in 2016 and is a director in Enterprise Strategy at the Royal Bank of Canada. Jason is a Chartered Professional Accountant and Chartered Financial Analyst.
Vidya Rajasingam

Board Director
Vidya is currently a Master of Environmental Studies (Urban Planning) student at York University. As part of her studies, she works with Toronto Community Housing to develop a framework, policies, and evaluation of their community gardens.
Zannalyn Robest

Board Director
Zannalyn Robest, PMP® has over 15 years’ advisory, policy/project management experience. She specializes in breathing life into policy through project management. She is passionate about shifting policy and practice that no longer serve intended goals and is skilled in continuous improvement and risk management.
Ragaven Sabaratnam

Board Director
Ragaven has more than 18 years of experience in the Ontario government, working in the areas of housing, health, social assistance, and childcare. His current role is as Assistant Deputy Minister, Canadian Intergovernmental Affairs, Cabinet Office, Ministry of Intergovernmental Affairs.
Lin Sallay

Board Director
Lin Sallay has dedicated her career to developing and leading quality, accessible healthcare to support youth and adults experiencing homelessness, poverty, and/or mental health and addictions challenges. Lin possesses 19+ years of leadership experience including Director and Executive Director roles.
