Kamilah has more than 20 years of experience in finance, accounting and auditing. Prior to joining Strides Toronto, Kamilah was the Manager, Finance and Administration at Durham Association for Family Resources and Support, a not-for-profit organization. In this role, Kamilah managed the Collaborative Administrative Department which provided financial and administrative oversight to over 15 other not-for-profit entities. Previously, she was the Director of Finance at Sistering, a multi-service agency for at-risk, socially isolated women and trans people in Toronto who are homeless or precariously housed. In Jamaica, Kamilah was the Internal Auditor at a government entity and spent numerous years with KPMG culminating in the position of External Audit Manager

Kamilah has a B.Sc in Accounting and Management Studies and is a Chartered Professional Accountant. She has completed additional courses in change management and human resources.
