Ragaven has more than 18 years of experience in the Ontario government, working in the areas of housing, health, social assistance, and childcare. His current role is as Assistant Deputy Minister, Canadian Intergovernmental Affairs, Cabinet Office, Ministry of Intergovernmental Affairs. Between 2017-2020, he worked in government in mental health, first in child and youth mental health and then broadening to include adult mental health and supportive housing. During this time, he was part of the lead agency identification process so, he is familiar with Strides services and our lead agency role. Ragaven grew up in Scarborough and identifies as a member of the Sri Lankan Tamil community. He has an MBA.
