Short Term Counselling (STC) services are designed to serve children and youth ages 6-17 years, and families who come to Strides looking for focused therapeutic support within a short-term framework.

Short Term Counselling (STC) services are designed to serve children and youth ages 6-17 years, and families who come to Strides looking for focused therapeutic support within a short-term framework. The program is designed to provide clients with up to 8 counselling sessions to address focused treatment goals. The service structure is determined collaboratively between the client/family and therapist, where some families could be served by meeting weekly for 6-8 weeks with others bi-weekly for 2-3 months.
