Respect in Schools Everywhere (RiSE)

April 15, 2019
The Respect in Schools Everywhere (RiSE) Program is a youth-led, school-based violence prevention and mentorship program for grades 10 – 12.

Youth participants are responsible for developing and facilitating workshops focused on bullying, mental health and stigma, and conflict resolution. RISE has developed a program model for schools based on evidence-based practices and current research. RISE is delivered at David and Mary Thomson Collegiate for the 2022/2023 school year however it can be introduced and started at any school or community agency interested in starting the program.
